Finalists were chosen by industry and consumer vote. Voting opened October 2 and closed October 21, narrowing the semifinalist lists announced September 30. Every nominee reached those lists by submitting a video describing their business or profession.
“Everybody on these lists was nominated, got on camera, and then got voted there,” Cook said. “Three separate hurdles, and the last one was other people.”
Finalists have a video submission due November 30. Top 50 retailers share that deadline for the Retail Performance Awards, where the Top 12 are entered automatically and every other Top 50 retailer can enter by submitting to MEA.
Judging begins December 3. Winners are announced February 7, 2027 at KnowledgeFest Las Vegas, where every attendee is invited to the awards presentation. KnowledgeFest Las Vegas runs February 5 through 7. Registration is open at knowledgefest.com.
